2020 NBA Draft mock #24: Milwaukee Bucks (via Pacers)- Jaden McDaniels

Jaden McDaniels is an intriguing young talent. His stock dropped a bit this season as he lacked consistency at Washington. McDaniels was a guaranteed lottery pick coming into the year. Some NBA team may be getting a bargain on draft night if he falls this far.

The 19-year-old averaged 13.0 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.4 blocks in 31.1 minutes per game this season. He shot just 40.5 percent from the field and 33.9 percent on his 3-pointers.

McDaniels is 6’9 with plus length. His athleticism and quickness with have NBA teams excited about his defensive potential. They would love to see his rebounding improve. McDaniels needs to curtail his fouling too. The 19-year-old is not ready for a massive role from day one.

McDaniels has a versatile offensive skill set. The big man can shoot, score, and make plays. The former Huskie connected on just 33.9 percent of his 127 3-point attempts this season, but many believe his jumper will develop in time.

The Bucks add another upside prospect in Jaden McDaniels. They usually shoot for a high ceiling raw player in the draft. He fits that bill. Milwaukee has done well in developing talent. They hope to make McDaniels the next name on that list.
