Luka Doncic could fill multiple spots on this list. He has the skill and versatility to play anywhere. Doncic is in his second year in the NBA, but there is no question that he deserves a spot in the Mavs all-time starting five.

Is he the most accomplished? No. Is Luka the best Maverick ever? No, please do not forget about Dirk already. Does he have a chance to be the best Mav ever when his career is over? 100 percent.

If this season’s performance was not enough proof than let’s make sure to explicitly say that Luka is special. He is the youngest player to lead the NBA in triple-doubles in a season. The 21-year-old has become must-watch TV because he makes the game of basketball look so easy.

Doncic won Rookie of the Year in 2019. He was an All-Star starter in 2020 and ended the Mavericks playoff drought. Luka is a walking record-breaker who is averaging nearly a triple-double every night. He puts up numbers nobody can match nearly every game.

Luka Doncic is getting his first playoff experience in 2020. Hopefully, he will be the leader of multiple championship teams in the future.
