The lasting Boban Marjanovic moment from his first season with the Dallas Mavericks will be his dominant 16-point fourth quarter to defeat the Nuggets in the game where everyone found out the season was being suspended.

He was grabbing offensive boards and putting the ball home at will. The Nuggets were also switching pick and rolls leaving Will Barton to check him after Nikola Jokic went with Luka Doncic. Marjanovic had 31 points and 17 rebounds in that win.

One game does not a season make, but here are a few stats. Boban played over 20 minutes in four games this season and had a double-double in all of them. He was a per-minute monster. He finished 28th in points and fifth in offensive rebounds per-36 minutes. Marjanovic also had a double-double against the Lakers in ten minutes and 19 seconds on the floor.

The 7’4 big man does his work in the paint. He is a putback machine. Marjanovic also has a strong hook shot and floater. He is never afraid to post up and fire away. He shot 55.5 percent from the field this season.

Marjanovic rarely played massive minutes, but he was a positive for the Mavs during his time on the floor.
