Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic had 20 points and did not play in the fourth quarter in the blowout victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Feb. 24.

The Dallas Mavericks had their first home game since the All-Star break on Monday night. when they hosted the Minnesota Timberwolves. They split two road contests after their week off. Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis both returned to the lineup after missing the team’s last game.

The Mavericks got off to a blistering start against Minnesota. They dropped 41 in the first quarter and had 81 points at the half. The Mavs rode that to a 139-123 victory.

It was a stellar all-around game for Dallas. Tim Hardaway Jr. was the team’s leading scorer with 23 points in 28 minutes. They had seven players in double figures.

Luka Doncic was once again the star of the night for the Dallas Mavericks. He finished with 20 points, nine rebounds, seven assists, two steals, and one block in 25 minutes of action. Doncic did not play in the fourth quarter because the game was decided. He finished seven of 16 from the field and five of eight on his free throws.

There was a bit of worry early on. Luka stepped on the foot of a Timberwolves player and was limping a bit. That troublesome right ankle looked to be hurting, but Doncic stayed in the game. He produced a masterful performance. It is worth keeping an eye on, though.
