The NBA All-Star game takes place on Feb. 16. Mavericks star Luka Doncic was voted in as a starter. Here is a look at where he should go in the draft.

NBA All-Star weekend is always a spectacle. It will be a celebration of the game’s best players all weekend long.

Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic will be a fixture of the events. He was voted to start in the main event plus will be taking part in the Rising Stars game on Friday evening. The events kick off on Feb. 14 and conclude on Feb. 16.

The draft to split the All-Star teams takes place on Feb. 6. Here is a look at the available players.

LeBron James received the most fan votes, so he has the first pick in the draft. The rules are simple. They alternate picks. Only the starters can be draft in the first round. Then, it shifts to the reserves in round two with Giannis Antetokounmpo having the first selection. Including the captains, each roster will finish with 12 players.

Dallas Mavericks supporters are wondering where Luka Doncic will be chosen in the draft. He is currently dealing with an ankle injury putting his status for the All-Star game in question. Will that hurt his draft stock? Can he be the first overall pick regardless?

Here is a mock draft of what will take place on TNT on Feb. 6. Fans should tune in to see how it actually shakes out. Let us jump right into it with LeBron’s first pick.
