7. Tobias Harris

The man of many teams, Tobias Harris has been something really special over the past few years and the fact that he can’t seem to find a stable home is something that someone will try to use to their advantage this summer. Harris is in his eighth season right now, but playing for his fifth different team.

That kind of thing can wear on the confidence of a player who has been as good as Harris over the past few seasons. Although he still does not have an All-Star appearance under his belt, there are a lot of things to love about Tobias Harris and the game he plays.

The big thing to think about with the Mavericks pursuing Harris would be that it would mean Porzingis playing the 5. I think that is probably a good fit with those two, but who knows how Porzingis would feel about that. If they can work it out, they would create a really good front court going forward.

Harris offers a really solid offensive presence with pretty good shooting from all ranges. His three-point shooting has taken a little time to develop, but it is getting better and better. His post game is pretty strong, too, but his offense is really based on the fact that he is comfortable anywhere on the court.

On defense, Harris has proven to be a pretty solid, hard-nosed defender for his team. He really started to show out during his time in Orlando but it has moved with him fairly well. He is never going to be elite on the defensive end but he will always be serviceable and useful for a team in need like Dallas.

The chances of Dallas acquiring Harris are fairly low in my opinion. He wants to find somewhere he can stay and right now it looks like Philadelphia is that place. If they’re willing to pay him, they should be viewed as the clear frontrunner.
