Golden State in 6

Blake Heckel – Golden State Warriors (4) over Cleveland Cavaliers (2)

“Just the fact that the current lack of parity in the NBA is forcing me to make this prediction really pisses me off. Nevertheless, I don’t see a scenario where either of these teams lose a playoff series before meeting each other for a fourth straight showdown. I tried to hop on the “the West is tough this year” bandwagon, I really did.

But, I don’t care how tough the West, because, if anything, the Warriors only got tougher in the offseason. Nick Young is about to be in a position where he will be ENCOURAGED to shoot at will. Even Javale McGee who, from the film I have seen this offseason, appears to be a SHOOTER now, not to mention the 2 former MVPs on the team.

As for Cleveland, I tried to hop on the “vengeance Kyrie” bandwagon, but it just doesn’t work. Name one player on the Boston Celtics who can effectively guard LeBron James on the same level as Kawhi Leonard and Draymond Green, because the only two teams who haven’t beaten LeBron in a playoff series in the past six years had one of those two guys on their team.”

Aaron Reed – Golden State Warriors (4) over Boston Celtics (2)

“No one is beating the Warriors, period. Hang it up. Too much firepower to contend with. The race is who finishes as top dog in the East. All eyes are on Boston and Cleveland. I think the Celtics still get the slight edge over the Cavs and go to the Finals, but they won’t beat a Golden State Warrior addicted to making shots.”
