Steve Nash

After spending his first few years in Phoenix, Nash came over to Dallas in 1998 where he would spend the next six seasons. This was the foundation of Nash’s career where he helped form Dallas’ own big three of himself, Finley and Nowitzki. The Hall of Famer would be my starting point guard.

Mark Aguirre

Aguirre is sometimes a forgotten Mav among new fans in Dallas but the three-time Maverick All-Star spent his first seven seasons in Dallas. He is third in the franchise in points and third in the franchise in total field goals made. He averaged over 21 points a game in six of his seven seasons in Dallas and 18 points a game during his rookie season.

He is my starting shooting guard.

Rolando Blackman

With his jersey retired in the rafters, Blackman spent 11 of his 13 seasons in Dallas and is right behind Dirk Nowitzki in the majority of franchise statistics. He was a four-time All-Star during his time in Dallas and would be the first guy off the bench for me in this scenario.

Jason Kidd

Kidd off the bench seems weird, but I give Nash the slight nod. Kidd was the starting point guard during the Mavericks’ only title season and is in the top ten of the majority of franchise statistics. Kidd spent his first two and a half seasons in the league in Dallas while also coming back towards the end of his career where he spent another four and a half seasons.

Jason Terry

Terry would be one of the last guys on this roster but the role he played in the 2011 Playoffs and the fact that he spent eight seasons in Dallas cements his role on this team.
