Julius Randle

Like Parker, this is one of my other favorite free agent targets for the Dallas Mavericks.

With Lonzo Ball drafted and Brandon Ingram a sophomore, the Los Angeles Lakers have built a young core that could allow them to open up two max free agent slots for next summer. Paul George is the obvious target for one, but then names such as Russell Westbrook and LeBron James come to mind.

If the Lakers do pursue the big time free agent route, it could come at the financial cost of Julius Randle.

Randle enters his fourth season in the league extension eligible, but also a potential restricted free agent next offseason. If the Lakers have plans to catapult into the playoffs over the next few years, then giving Julius Randle a big contract doesn’t seem to be worth it.

Would it be worth it for a team like Dallas?
