Top 10 Potential 2018 Free Agents For Dallas Mavericks

Andrew Wiggins
Wiggins, if no extension is reached, will be a restricted free agent next offseason.
Before this past offseason, and even arguably now, the thought of giving Wiggins a max contract was a no brainer. But after a sub-par season in Minnesota and the addition of new starters (and starter money) in Jimmy Butler, Jeff Teague and Taj Gibson, the Wiggins max might not be guaranteed to some.
If Minnesota is uncomfortable handing Wiggins that big contract, in addition to the looming Karl Anthony-Towns extension, then they could possibly let him hit restricted free agency.
If that happens, teams will definitely be interested in his services and throwing a max contract at him. I would expect Minnesota to match, but you never know.
