Dallas Mavericks: 2017 NBA Mock Draft 3.0

29. . . PF. Ivan Rabb. 29
Much like last year with Dejounte Murray, the Spurs could sit back and wait for a certain talent to fall into their lap.
If Rabb kept his name in the draft last year, he would have been a lottery talent, but after a lackluster season at California, he could slide on draft night.
Rabb isn’t a perfect fit in today’s game, but his skill around the basket and long-term development could be someone San Antonio can’t pass up at the 29th pick.
118. . . PG/SG. Frank Jackson. 30
Of all the prospects coming out of Duke, Jackson is the one who got looked over the most as a freshman in Duke’s system.
Thinking his spot might be in jeopardy with incoming recruits, Jackson entered the draft process and impressed as soon as he started working out for teams. He has a nice frame for a bigger, scoring point guard, but doesn’t have the pure point guard abilities yet.

Utah does have Dante Exum in development, but Jackson could give them another body with the possibility of losing Hill and/or Mack in free agency.
