. . SG/SF. Derrick White. 25. 38

Derrick White is a name that hasn’t been brought up too much among mock drafts, but has slowly gained steam over the past couple of weeks.

Standing at 6’5″ with a 6’8″ wingspan, White is an intriguing wing prospect that can guard multiple positions in this new era of NBA. Some people think he could be similar to Malcolm Brogdon.

For Orlando, they are trying to establish a young core to build around and White could be one of those pieces.

With three first round picks, Portland is almost certain to trade or select a player they can stash overseas for next season.

The 7’3″ big man from Latvia has been rising up draft boards after workouts in front of scouts had people buzzing about his athleticism, shooting and movement.

Pasecniks would be a great prospect long-term and can be stashed next season.
