3.) Denver Nuggets

The Denver Nuggets currently have a couple of young building blocks in Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray. If they wanted to add to that young core, moving up to nine might be something that would give up a piece for.

It’s sort of difficult to peg what Denver is looking for in the draft, but would a Monk, Smith Jr., Isaac, Tatum, Markkanen or Ntilikina entice Denver enough to give up a young piece or two to move up?

With Emmanuel Mudiay not getting the playing time like he would expect, would Mudiay and the 13th pick be enough for Dallas to move down four spots? Denver could realistically add any player to the likes of Mudiay, Harris, Hernangomez, or Barton with the 13th pick. If Dallas was interested, they could even entertain Wilson Chandler or Kenneth Faried to the deal.

Denver is most likely to stand pat and make their pick, but if the right player is available at nine, they could come calling with an intriguing package for Dallas.
