1.) Sacramento Kings

Sacramento currently sits with the 5th and 10th picks in the draft with a couple of young pieces on their roster that could be enticing.

At the fifth pick, Sacramento should come away with the likes of De’Aaron Fox, Jayson Tatum or Josh Jackson. With holes on the wing and the point, they could try to fill both of their holes with their picks.

Let’s say Sacramento selects Fox with the fifth pick with the goal of landing a wing with their second first rounder. Now, let’s say a wing like Jonathan Isaac or Jayson Tatum drops to Dallas at nine.

Would Sacramento give up one of their young bigs to move up one spot and get their guy? Would a Skal Labissiere and the 10th pick trade to move up one spot to grab Tatum or Isaac be worth it?

For Dallas, if the likes of a Tatum and Ntilikina are on the board, they could make the trade with Sacramento, still get their guy, and come away with a young big in the deal also to help the rebuild.

The Kings would sacrifice a big, but going into the future with Fox, Hield, Tatum/Isaac, Cauley-Stein and more could be appealing. The same trade scenario could work both ways if the Kings went with Josh Jackson or Jayson Tatum at the fifth pick and wanted a point guard with their second pick.
