Dallas Mavericks 2017 NBA Draft Big Board 5.0

OG Anunoby is one of my favorite players in the draft and if he was healthy, I strongly believe he would be a top 10 pick in the draft.
Standing at 6’8″ and 215 pounds, Anunoby is exactly the type of player to be a small ball four in the league today. Arguably the most impressive thing about Anunoby’s physical frame is that he has a 7’2″ wingspan and thighs that Yogi Ferrell told me is like “tree trunks”.
Although many have Isaac as a lock above Anunoby, I believe Anunoby to be the better prospect. If Anunoby, Isaac, and Markkanen are all on the board at nine, I’m going with OG Anunoby if I am Dallas.

Isaac is one of the more intriguing prospects of the draft due mainly because of his upside.
If you went strictly by his production alone at Florida State, then Isaac would simply be another prospect. But when you consider his frame, defensive ability and era of basketball in the NBA, he could go anywhere from 3-10 on draft night.
He stands at 6’11” with a 7’1″ wingspan while playing wing the majority of the time at Florida State. He would come into Dallas and take over Dorian Finney-Smith’s spot in the backup, small ball four role.
The weaknesses of Isaac typically point toward his skinny frame and lack of offensive game. He will likely never be a first, second or even third string option on a team.
I believe Isaac will be gone before Dallas’ pick.
