Markelle Fultz won’t last until the 9th pick in the draft, but he would still be number one on the Mavericks’ big board.

Many people are already writing in Fultz as the top overall pick in the draft to Boston and rightfully so. Fultz recently had his official visit to Boston where he met with everyone involved in Boston.

On the court, Fultz brings it all to the table as a prospect. The scoring, length, athleticism, you name it and Fultz has it as a guard prospect. There is a reason he is projected the top overall pick in the draft.

Fultz would be an outstanding get for Dallas, but it obviously isn’t going to happen.

Similar to Fultz, the chances of Ball lasting until the 9th pick in the draft are slim, but you imagine he is right at the top of the board in Dallas.

A lot has been made of Lonzo’s shooting form, but I don’t believe it will be that big of a problem when he enters the league. His playmaking and size at the point guard position will be something special to watch for many years to come.

I would assume Ball is near the top on Dallas’ wishlist, but don’t expect the Ball family to come to Dallas. He looks like he is locked into the top three on draft night.
