ISAAC: The Kings can’t mess this one up right?

Of all the draft question marks that have plagued Sacramento over the past multiple drafts, the 2017 NBA Draft is set up perfectly for them to select a top point guard of the future.

In this situation, and a very likely one at that, it is De’Aaron Fox out of the University of Kentucky.

The biggest hole that the Kings have now (and really over the past couple of years) is the point guard spot alongside of Buddy Hield. If Josh Jackson is on the board, it would be very hard to pass up. But the talent of Fox at point guard would be very hard to pass up.

It wouldn’t surprise me if Fox gets love from Philadelphia at three, but at five, Vlade and the crew can’t miss on this.

Fox is the most explosive player in the draft and has made the NBA world turn their heads with his impressive highlight videos and interviews. Sacramento also has the 10th overall pick where they could simply take the leftovers of Isaac, Markkanen and Collins.

Fox would join Hield, Cauley-Stein, Big Papa, Skal and more in a young core that is starting to shape up nicely in Sacramento.
