KOHL: Phoenix could really use some help in just about every area other than shooting guard at this point, but with a serviceable point guard combo of Eric Bledsoe and Brandon Knight, the Suns will look to add some help down low.

For that reason, I believe the Suns will love Jayson Tatum of Duke. Tatum played one year with the Blue Devils and was immediately on the radar as a high-level draft pick. He is capable of playing multiple positions as his 6’8″ frame makes him a natural small forward, but a chance to be a good small ball 4 option as well.

Tatum does a lot of things well and would bring some versatility, scoring help, and defensive prowess to the Phoenix Suns who will be happy to take all of those things at this time. He does need some work on his outside shot as Tatum shot only 34% from behind the arc. However, when you have a player like Devin Booker, it is all about finding a scoring threat inside the three-point line.

The Suns may also consider a player like Josh Jackson in this spot, but Jayson Tatum appears to be the more capable player at the forward positions which fills the bigger needs for the team.
