1.) Frank Ntilikina, France

The 18-year-old French kid is the international mystery of this year’s draft.

Standing at 6’5″ and 170 pounds, Ntilikina currently plays for Strasbourg in the Champions League. In mock drafts over the past couple of months, the most popular name linked to the Dallas Mavericks has been the kid from France.

But like most international players, Ntilikina has the unknown factor. Playing in a lesser known league with a variety of playing time, projecting what Ntilikina will be in the league is nearly impossible.

For Dallas, the length, size, potential and age is something that would appeal to the Mavericks moving forward. He could come into Dallas and take the time to develop into the point guard of the future.

Dallas’ brass is reportedly across the pond at the moment scouting Ntilikina up close for themselves according to BasketballInsiders’ Steve Kyler.
