With the Dallas Mavericks headed towards another important offseason, here are five things I don’t want the franchise to do this offseason.

The Dallas Mavericks finished with a 33-49 record in the first losing season since Mark Cuban took ownership of the team. Not only that, but the Mavericks went through a shift in philosophy this season as the shift towards the youth officially began.

Veterans such as Deron Williams and Andrew Bogut were let go while bringing in (potentially) the next franchise center in Nerlens Noel. They also had undrafted guys like Dorian Finney-Smith and Nicolas Brussino log decent minutes while finding a diamond-in-the-rough with Yogi Ferrell.

Now, the Mavericks enter an offseason where they begin with a top 10 pick in the NBA Draft and a chance to get another young piece for the future.

With a top draft pick coming and needs for more shooting and rebounding on the roster, here are five things I DON”T want the Mavericks to do this offseason.
