Nikola Mirotic (26)

Of all the power forwards available, Nikola Mirotic is one of the more interesting ones. After a pretty stellar rookie season in 2014-15, Mirotic has followed it up with a couple great seasons with Chicago since. There are definitely question marks with his game and some concern about durability, but overall, Mirotic may be a great weapon in the league.

Dallas Mavericks

Nikola Mirotic has averaged 10.8 points per game for his career and has stayed around 10 or 11 points average in each season. He has a solid shooting percentage of over 40% and grabs right around 5 rebounds per contest. He has never been much of a defender at all, but he is well equipped to have the ball in his hands.

Dallas would do well with a guy who is offensively able like Mirotic. The Mavs are in desperate need of a spark on the offensive end that he could bring. His locker room presence has been in question, but the Mavericks and Dirk Nowitzki could have a good impression on the youngster from Montenegro.

Mirotic would do well in Dallas because he would be thrust into the starting lineup where I believe he would thrive. He has had such an up and down career with some crazy things going on in Chicago that he is probably ready to try something new if he isn’t made a priority this summer. I’m not sure the Bulls even know what they want to do yet.

Mirotic would probably not go to Dallas because it isn’t really viewed as a high market team. Someone will offer him a lot of money to go to another team and that will likely be his prime motivator. There is also the chance that the Mavs have seen his concerns and are not interested.
