Blake Griffin (28 years old)

Griffin is undoubtedly going to be the biggest name forward on the free agency market this year for two reasons: 1) Blake is a very talented basketball player, and 2) The fear of the Clippers blowing it up after yet another disappointing early playoff loss is bigger than ever.

Griffin would fit into Dallas as well as any system I believe due to his versatility and ability to adapt his game. There is the chance that he has been with a bigger market team and he and Carlisle could butt heads, but I believe the potential reward is worth the risk.

Griffin should be interested in Dallas because we have a great medical staff, a player that is making major steps towards stardom, a young squad that will grow quickly, and a great coach and front office that could maximize his potential better. Griffin would be close to home as well.

Blake Griffin would not be interested if he is more focused on being in the spotlight. Dallas has never been good at landing big name free agents, which could deter Griffin. The thought of being the primary star for the team could intimidate him as well.
