3.) Josh Jackson

Miami, Denver, Minnesota

Although Fultz and Ball are the overwhelming favorites at the moment, I believe the overall prospect of Josh Jackson would tempt some.

Minnesota has the 6th best odds of landing the top overall pick and I believe they would seriously consider Josh Jackson. Thibs would LOVE to get his hands on Jackson in his defense and he could play the three beside Wiggins or the four alongside Towns. Plus, they do still have Ricky Rubio, Zach LaVine and sophomore guard, Kris Dunn.

For Denver and Miami, they very well could take Fultz and make it work. But I believe they would seriously consider Josh Jackson at the top spot. Jackson could fit perfectly alongside Jokic and Murray moving forward. In Miami, he could fit right into the lineup with Dragic, Winslow, and Whiteside.

It would be a long shot at this point to see Jackson going first overall, but don’t be surprised if it gains more traction as the draft draws near.

With one team left in the lottery, the trade route could be their route.
