. SF. Josh Jackson. 5. 38.

If you are Orlando, you take the best talent available on the draft board. It’s that simple.

Just a few years ago, Orlando was blooming with potential with players such as Gordon, Payton, Vucevic, and more. Now, in 2017, there isn’t a clear star on the team as they head for a continuous rebuild again.

With that being said, you take the talent of Josh Jackson at this spot and be done with it.

Having Jackson going 5th is not a knock on his talent, just where I believe other teams might be leaning on draft night. By the time June rolls around, Jackson could be right in the mix for the top overall spot.

Jackson would come in immediately and step into the starting small forward spot with Aaron Gordon at the four. Jeff Green is a free agent and Mario Hezonja would come off the bench. Jackson would give them an edge on the defensive end and a versatile threat offensively.
