1.) Another Year of Dirk Nowitzki

Even in a losing season, fans in Dallas got to witness another season from one of the greatest to ever play the game of basketball.

Heading into last summer, speculation (mostly outside of Dallas) grew around the league on whether Nowitzki would be suiting up for Dallas again or testing the waters with a potential title team.

Like many assumed, he re-signed in Dallas for a two-year deal with a team option on the second year.

Even though Nowitzki was hampered by a lingering Achilles injury at the beginning of the season, he took the needed time off and came back stronger than ever. Nowitzki would appear in 54 games where he would average 14.2 points and 6.5 rebounds a game.

Fans should never take for granite the opportunity to watch one of the greatest of all-time.
