4.)  Dirk Nowitzki Might Play Past 20 Seasons

The legend of Dirk Nowitzki is definitely back for year 20, but could he play longer?

After starting the season with his Achilles injury, Dirk is finishing on a high note in regards to his health.

"“I feel probably the best I have felt all year,” Nowitzki said. “Looking forward to doing the same program this summer with probably few tweaks here and there and be ready for camp. Just be as ready as I can, play as many games as I can and hopefully stay injury free.”"

For anyone who thought Dirk might be done this season, you were wrong. Nowitzki seems as committed as ever to being in top notch shape for next season. As far as beyond next year, Dirk isn’t closing the door…

"“I’ll have to see how the body responds next year. If I feel like this, like I did at the end, I feel like I can play another one after that. But I’ll just leave all that open,” Nowitzki said."

This is either very truthful or his way of keeping the “tour” from happening all of next year. The tour is definitely something Nowitzki is not wanting when he does call it quits.

“Not planned. No tour. I think my body is going to tell me when it is time…I’m going to play next year as planned and see where my body is after that. We can all make a decision after that and you guys will be the last ones to know,” Nowitzki said as everyone laughed.
