3.) Nerlens Noel Sounded Like a Mav…Not a Free Agent

The Dallas Mavericks made one of the biggest trades of the year in landing arguably the franchise center moving forward. But with restricted free agency looming, Noel had the politically correct answers, but sounded like Dallas will be home.

"“Yeah, I love Dallas in my short time here,” Noel said.”I think there is a lot to be excited for, but obviously there are some things that will be worked out most likely and we will go from there.”"

Yeah, those things being worked out will be the contract Noel will sign that will make him a lot richer than what he is now. On his summer plans, the “free agent” plans to spend a lot of time with the Mavericks Head Coach.

“I think this is a big offseason for me. I will be looking to spend a lot of time with Coach Carlisle. To get a whole offseason, I think we can make really big strides,” Noel said.

When asked if he has spoken to Mark and Donnie much about the summer, Noel isn’t worried too much…

“I’m really not too worried,” Noel said.
