The Dallas Mavericks concluded their season on Thursday with exit interviews. Here are five takeaways from the event.

The Dallas Mavericks finished 33-49 in a season that was full of injuries, heartbreak and losses.

On Thursday, the day after the last game of the regular season in Memphis, the Mavericks put a bow on the season in their exit interviews.

Veteran players such as Dirk Nowitzki, Devin Harris, J.J. Barea, Wesley Matthews and Harrison Barnes all took the mic to answer questions about the disappointing season in Dallas. There were also some young guns in Dorian Finney-Smith, Dwight Powell and Yogi Ferrell that each had their time at the mic.

Rick Carlisle also spoke to the media following the players on Thursday.

It was a time of reflection and memories back on the season, but more importantly, a time to talk about how the Mavericks get better moving forward.
