2. . PG. Washington. MARKELLE FULTZ

The battle at the top of draft boards is mainly between Ball and Fultz. Depending on the day you ask someone, they could have a different answer each day.

With Fultz’s season ending early prior to the NCAA Tournament, fans and scouts haven’t had a taste of the skills of Fultz for quite some time. Sometimes, this causes the hype factor to decrease, but with Fultz, most people agree he is going first or second on draft night.

Like Ball, Fultz would come in as the unquestioned starter for the Dallas Mavericks and be a cornerstone of the future. He is more polished on the offensive side of the ball than Ball, but doesn’t possess the same playmaking ability as Ball.

Bottom line, if Dallas did jump into the top three and landed either of these guys it would be a stroke of good luck for once.
