1. . PG. UCLA. LONZO BALL

Lonzo Ball has been number one on my Mavs Big Board over the last two installments and he remains there in this one.

Ball was a sensation at point guard this past season at UCLA and proved he can control the whole pace of the game. He does have an odd shot release and an entertaining father figure, but his talent level at the point guard puts him at the top for me.

Fultz is right behind him, but Ball’s fit next to Seth Curry is a little better in my opinion. At 6’6″, Ball can guard opposing shooting guards while still running the offense on the other end. The Jason Kidd comparisons are real.

The odds of Dallas landing the first overall pick in the draft are slim, but if they did, I would select Lonzo Ball.
