Dallas Mavericks: Four Trade Destinations For Andrew Bogut

2.) Boston
The Boston Celtics are my second logical destination for Andrew Bogut.
Being rumored to already be in the Bogut trade speculation, Boston has a lot of the similar mindsets that the Blazers would have in acquiring Bogut. Al Horford was the big free agent signing for the Celtics over the summer, but is not the solution to the rebounding and defensive issues long-term.
Andrew Bogut would give Brad Stevens a defensive, hard-nosed anchor in the middle that he could play in multiple lineups. He could play him alongside of Horford in the front court or bring him off the bench in the second unit. Either way, Bogut would give Boston a body to match up against some of the other anchors in the league.
Boston would have to make room to acquire Bogut, but that would be pretty easy considering they have players such as Amir Johnson and Tyler Zeller that could be unloaded. Boston wouldn’t include their 2017 first rounder but a future first could be in play.
For Dallas, obtaining a first round pick would be the goal in this while getting a Johnson or Zeller in the deal would be the team’s preference.
