With the regular season right around the corner, what exactly are the expectations for the Dallas Mavericks?

The 2016-17 season tips off in only 5 days, and the Dallas Mavericks are looking to make their mark. The past few years have been relatively successful for the Mavs as they have avoided mediocrity, despite an aging Dirk Nowitzki and a new set of faces year after year. However, avoiding mediocrity isn’t enough to satisfy Dallas’ front office’s ambitions or the fans hopes. Here are 5 expectations for the Mavericks 2016-17 season.
