Devin Harris

“Rick Carlisle will likely resort to Devin Harris as the sixth man. While his game has declined steeply over the years, he still attacks the rim well and can stay in front of opposing guards defensively. Harris’ knowledge and trust factor with Carlisle will lead to him assuming a Raymond Felton role with the team.” -Evan Siegel

Seth Curry

“I think the natural answer will be Justin Anderson as he will be the first off the bench, but I’m going with Seth Curry. I think he will take on the Raymond Felton role, but take the next step in his career at the same time. I think he will average in the double digits in points and be the spark plug off the bench offensively. Curry is my pick for the Mavs 6th man.” -Isaac Harris

Salah Mejri

“It is pretty rare to see a backup center come in and take over a game in a 6th man role, but I think that Salah Mejri is ready for it. Mejri is tall and skinny and can often be pushed around in the key, but he is also incredibly athletic and energized for the job.

There are other players who clearly have a chance to make a big step in their career, but I think that Salah is going to be a key part of the team moving forward. Keep an eye out for his presence above the rim on both ends of the court.” -Kohl Rast

No matter who your pick is for the Mavs 6th man this year, it is easy to see that the new look team has put the job up for grabs. With Raymond Felton and David Lee gone, Dallas is going to have to turn to a new bench to get things done when the starters are out. It could be one of these players or it could be someone else.
