Dallas Mavericks: Top 5 Most Important Opponents This Season

Minnesota Timberwolves
This one may be a bit more of a surprise but the Timberwolves could very easily be dangerous this year. Much like the Jazz, Minnesota has an abundance of talented youth that will put together a really good squad in the next few years.
Karl-Anthony Towns, Andrew Wiggins, and Zach LaVine are all very good players that are coming into their own. Another year under their belt could make a difference for this team. Add in Tyus Jones and Kris Dunn and this team is fun to watch.
Again, much like the Jazz, Dallas has had a lot of success against Minnesota in the past. Of course, over the last few years, basically everyone has had a lot of success over the last few seasons.
If Dallas is going to keep that success alive, they will need to find a way to counteract the youth of the Wolves. Harrison Barnes, Seth Curry, and the other young players on the team are going to help with that process and the success over the Timberwolves will hopefully continue.
