Oklahoma City Thunder

The Thunder have been a Western Conference powerhouse for many years now. For the first time in a while, they could be on the outside looking in for the playoff race. Russell Westbrook is an incredible player and one of the best in the country. But can he do it himself?

Without Kevin Durant on the roster, things start to look a little bleaker for Oklahoma City. To make matters worse, Durant didn’t decide his fate until very late in the free agency period. Not only do they not have someone to fill the gaping hole that Durant left, but they also lost a top 2 player in the league.

The Mavericks really do have a good shot of having the advantage over Oklahoma City this season. Deron Williams may not be able to keep up with Westbrook but the Mavs have the advantage really at every other position on the court. If we slow down Westbrook, we should beat them regularly.
