Memphis Grizzlies

The Grizzlies are a pretty obvious team to make the playoffs as they bring back their biggest players. With Mike Conley and Marc Gasol returning to Memphis for another year, and former Mav, Chandler Parsons, joining the team, the Grizzlies have improved from last year.

If they can manage to keep that three-headed injury monster healthy, it is hard to see any scenario where Memphis does not make the playoffs. In fact, they are probably the favorites to take that 4th spot in the West.

The games against Memphis will be important for the Mavs for many reasons this year. For one, they are a solid team that could easily have home court advantage in the playoffs. If the Mavericks have a great year, they are a very possible first round opponent.

Besides that, it will obviously be interesting to see Parsons again. After all the drama surrounding that situation, CP is settled in Memphis and joined Conley, another Mavs hopeful that fell through. It would be pretty sweet to beat both of them.
