With the addition of some younger players to go with some old faces, questions still surround the Dallas Mavericks going into the new season.

Dallas went into the offseason with plenty of holes in the roster, but with one goal in mind: swing for the fences again while still bringing back Dirk Nowitzki on his last contract.

After notably missing out on Hassan Whiteside and Mike Conley at the beginning of free agency, Dallas stood silent as it looked like a disaster of an offseason.

Then Kevin Durant made his decision to join the Golden State Warriors.

With Golden State letting Harrison Barnes and Andrew Bogut go to Dallas in an effort to make room for Durant, Dallas immediately had a competitive team to surround Nowitzki with in his last few years in the league.

Surprisingly, Dallas took a different route in filling out the roster as they turned to younger options in Seth Curry and Quincy Acy instead of aging veterans.

But with the roster almost intact for training camp, there are still questions to be answered going into the season.

Here are five questions I have heading into the 2016-17 NBA season…
