Harrison Barnes

Harrison Barnes averaged a career high 11 points and five rebounds last season. His reward was a max contract worth $94 million over four years.

Barnes was obviously stuck in the shadows in Golden State behind the two-time MVP, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green. He was the wing defender who guarded some of the best in the league and was asked to hit a spot up three in the corner.

The fourth wheel on the 73-win Warriors now gets a max contract where he will be asked to be one of the main options in Dallas. Unproven statistically, can the 24-year old live up to his new role and contract in Dallas?

The pressure is on for Barnes to take the next step in his career.
