Kohl Rast: Andrew Bogut

“Yeah, yeah, I realize how dumb it is to pick against Dirk for our team MVP. I mean there really isn’t a season this century where that fact could be argued, but I am going to try and stray from the traditional definition of MVP and go for more of the Most Important Player approach.

In 2011, it was clear that Dirk was the MVP with Jason Terry, Jason Kidd, and Shawn Marion all making their case for second, but none, including the big German, were more instrumental for the championship run than Tyson Chandler. I’m not saying that Bogut is going to have a Chandler level impact, but he is a similar style player that can really alter each game for the Mavericks.”
