Kohl Rast: 17 PPG

“This may seem fairly steep considering his scoring in the past has been average at best, but I think Barnes is ready to take a big leap in his scoring numbers. I have been and will continue to be skeptical about Barnes in general, but he is going to see a massive increase in usage over the next few seasons. After Dirk, Barnes may need to be our next best scorer, meaning that 15-20 shots a night will not be out of the question. Volume will be his friend in the stat columns this year.”

Whatever the case, Harrison Barnes is welcomed to the Dallas Mavericks with open arms and we are excited and eager to see what he can do. His defense alone was enough reason to bring him to Dallas but if his scoring really improves, we may have gotten ourselves a real steal.
