Isaac Harris: Chandler Parsons

I want to say Raymond Felton, but I have to say Parsons, and that’s saying something if you know my feelings about Parsons and Dallas.

With my feelings about his paycheck, injuries and other things out-of-the-way, Dallas will miss his playmaking tremendously early on. Having a wing who could spread out the floor and get to the basketball was an important piece to the Mavs offense…when he was on the court.

Harrison Barnes will be growing into his new role and Wesley Matthews isn’t the best of penetrators, thus putting a heavy load on Deron Williams, especially early. Until Dallas finds someone to take over some of the playmaking abilities, fans could see a lot of contested three’s after many stagnant offensive sequences.

Felton’s versatility and big play in clutch moments will be missed, but I think Parsons playmaking ability (especially early on) will be missed the most.
