3.) Devin Booker, Phoenix Suns

Coming out of Kentucky, everyone knew Booker could shoot the ball and that was about it. Now, he could be the next coming of Klay Thompson.

Coming into Phoenix behind Eric Bledsoe and Brandon Knight, playing time looked to be scarce until both of the veterans went down with injuries. Then Booker took advantage of the opportunity.

Booker went on to become the 4th youngest player ever to reach 1,000 points behind LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, and Kevin Durant. Pretty elite company for the 19-year old.

Knight and Bledsoe are back, but Booker isn’t going anywhere as he looks to be the starting small forward until Phoenix decides to unload one of their veteran guards. Even though he kind of “broke out” last year, Booker could have an even bigger breakout season this year.
