7.) Ben Simmons, Philadelphia 76ers

Simmons is the only rookie on this list, but he could have a monster season in Philadelphia this year.

After averaging 12 points, 8 rebounds, and over 5 assists a game in the Summer League, Simmons showed right away he belongs in the league. His insane court vision and athleticism being 6’10” made him instantly one of the best players on the court at all times.

By all indications, Philly plans to run Simmons as a point forward with the ball in his hands the majority of the time. He will get the opportunities and minutes to become whatever player he wants to become this season.

With Philly putting players like Dario Saric, Jahlil Okafor and others around him this season, Simmons could have a breakout season during his first year in the league.
