2.) Myles Turner, Indiana Pacers

The 20-year old out of Texas came into Indiana as the 11th pick and some questions surrounding injuries, but the big fella didn’t disappoint.

Averaging 10 points and 5 rebounds on just 22 minutes a night, Turner made his presence known on both ends of the court from the very beginning. Landing on the NBA All-Rookie 2nd team, Turner solidified himself as one of the steals in the draft for the next year’s to come.

All while coming off the bench.

Stuck behind Ian Mahinmi at center and Indy’s desire for Paul George to play the four, Turner didn’t find himself starting until after the all-star break.

Now the young, athletic big man with a sweet shooting stroke, comes into camp as the starting center where he has an aging veteran behind him in Al Jefferson who can teach him the ropes. With the new opportunity ahead, Turner could have a breakout season.
