Isaac Harris: Andrew Bogut

This one was tough for me because I am all in on Harrison Barnes, but my vote has to go to Andrew Bogut.

Last year, Dallas had Zaza that was a good rebounder and passer but lacked the above the rim presence on defense. Then there was Mejri who had the shot blocking presence but lacked the basketball I.Q. and passing ability. Now Bogut gives the Mavs a combination of both.

Dallas literally gave up nothing to get one of the best rim protectors in the game. Plus, Bogut comes in making just $11 million this coming season on a contract that ends after this year. So if things don’t work out for some reason, they can let him walk for nothing.

Dallas fans will love them some Andrew Bogut this season.
