2.) Dallas Got Younger

Besides the Nowitzki and Williams signings, here are the following signings in Dallas and their age.

Harrison Barnes (24), Seth Curry (25), Quincy Acy (25), Dwight Powell (24), Jonathan Gibson (28), Dorian Finney-Smith (23), and Nicolas Brussino (23).

Dallas locked in a hopeful, future all-star and two quality role players in Barnes, Curry, and Powell. Acy, Gibson, Finney-Smith, and Brussino are younger options that look to battle for roster spots and end-of-rotation minutes off the bench.

This is a changeup for Dallas as they normally look to fill out their roster with aging, past-their-prime veterans such as Charlie Villanueva, Amare Stoudemire, and Richard Jefferson. Now, Dallas is taking the chance on younger talent that maybe they could strike gold with.

Dallas achieved their main goal this offseason, to get younger while remaining competitive in Dirk’s last years.
