With David Lee‘s time in Dallas likely over, here are three teams that should sign the veteran forward.

After being stuck on the end of Boston’s bench, David Lee was finally waived prior to the waiver wire deadline last year and Dallas came calling.

Lee signed on the dotted line in February to join the Mavericks and he instantly became a staple off the bench. Taking minutes from the younger Dwight Powell, Lee logged quality minutes at the backup power forward and center spots.

He averaged eight points and seven rebounds a game on 17 minutes a night.

Now Lee hits free agency in what would be his 11th season in the league. Before his injury near the postseason last year, he proved that he can still contribute quality minutes off the bench for a contender.

Golden State seemed like a natural fit and reunion considering their salary cap situation, but with their recent moves of David West and Anderson Varejao, Lee might not be in the equation.

With that being said, here are three teams that should sign David Lee right now.
