5.) Portland Trail Blazers

Portland obviously has one of the top 5 point guards in Damian Lillard, but after that, they are shallow at the position.

Both Tim Frazier and Brian Roberts left in free agency, thus leaving a gaping whole at backup point guard behind Lillard. They did complete a trade for Shabazz Napier, but Felton would be an upgrade over Napier.

For a team that is doing everything to stay in contention in the West, bringing in the veteran Felton would be a solid move.

Felton would step in immediately as the primary backup to Lillard and lead a second unit with Allen Crabbe, Ed Davis, and others. With other teams in the West getting better, Portland needs to do whatever it takes to not lose any ground in the West.

Raymond Felton had a bounce back year last year in Dallas and deserves a quality role somewhere in the league. Some team is about to get a solid backup point guard.
