As a result of the Kevin Durant decision, Harrison Barnes is headed to Dallas on a max contract.

After missing out on all of the big fish of free agency, Dallas looks to replace Chandler Parsons with the younger Harrison Barnes on the wing.

With Golden State making Barnes an unrestricted free agent, ESPN is reporting that Dallas and Barnes have reached a verbal agreement.

Barnes will step into Dallas making roughly $22 million during his first year and will be the highest paid player in franchise history for the Mavericks. Even though he is undeserving to many of a max contract, Barnes will help the Mavs get younger while remaining competitive.

With the Andrew Bogut news coming out at the same time, Dallas could get two starters from the 73-win Warriors.

Stay tuned for more details surrounding the Barnes and Bogut acquisitions.
