3.) No Major Injury Concerns

Dallas signed Chandler Parsons two seasons ago from Houston only to watch him come to Dallas and play in one playoff game. Both seasons were cut short due to season ending knee injuries.

To give you perspective, in Barnes’ short FOUR year career, he has missed only 21 total games. Guess how many games Chandler Parsons missed last season in Dallas? You guessed it, 21.

During his first three years in the league, Barnes missed only three total games. Last year, Barnes missed some time due to a high ankle sprain.

For Dallas, just getting the opportunity to see your highest paid players on the court during April and May is something they haven’t got to witness over the past couple of seasons.
